ERW Boiler Tubes

An ERW Boiler Tube (Electric Resistance Welded Boiler Tube) is a carbon steel tube manufactured through high-frequency ERW welding and designed to withstand high pressure, high temperature, and continuous thermal cycling. These tubes are specially engineered for boilers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, steam lines, and power plant applications, where strength and thermal resistance are critical. With excellent mechanical properties, uniform weld strength, and consistent dimensions, ERW Boiler Tubes are widely used in industrial heating systems, energy plants, chemical industries, and mechanical engineering applications.

Manufacturing Process

The manufacturing of ERW Boiler Tubes begins with carbon steel strips being precision-shaped into a cylindrical form and fused using high-frequency ERW welding, which ensures a strong and uniform weld seam. To enhance their mechanical properties and relieve internal stresses, the tubes may subsequently undergo a normalizing or heat treatment process. Following this, rigorous surface preparation through cleaning, descaling, and treatment removes all impurities to ensure a pristine condition. The integrity of the critical weld seam is then verified through Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as Eddy Current or Ultrasonic Testing. The tubes are precisely sized and straightened to achieve accurate outer diameter, thickness, and strict dimensional tolerances required for boiler applications. Finally, each tube undergoes a comprehensive hydrotest and final inspection to validate its performance under internal pressure, weld quality, and overall structural integrity. This meticulous, multi-stage process guarantees that every tube meets all necessary parameters for reliable performance in high-pressure environments as premium ERW Boiler Tubes..
