Heat Exchanger Tubes

Heat Exchanger Tubes are high-performance tubes engineered for effective heat transfer between fluids in cooling and heating systems. These tubes are available in seamless, welded, and U-bend forms using materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, copper alloys, and nickel alloys depending on application. With excellent pressure resistance, dimensional accuracy, and corrosion protection, Heat Exchanger Tubes are widely used in power plants, oil & gas refineries, petrochemical units, HVAC cooling systems, and process industries. Their smooth bore surface and high thermal conductivity make them ideal for condensers, boilers, evaporators, and coolers.

Manufacturing Process

Heat Exchanger Tubes are manufactured using precision-controlled processes to ensure superior thermal performance. The process begins with seamless or welded tube formation using hot-rolling, cold-drawing, or welding techniques. After forming, tubes undergo heat treatment such as annealing or normalizing to enhance durability and corrosion resistance. The internal and external surfaces are polished, pickled, or bright-annealed for superior smoothness, ensuring maximum heat transfer. For U-bend tubes, automated bending machines ensure uniform radius and minimal wall thinning. Each tube undergoes hydro testing, eddy current testing, ultrasonic testing, and dimensional inspections to ensure full compliance with ASTM and ASME standards.
