Stainless Steel Sheets
A Stainless Steel Sheet is a corrosion-resistant steel product containing chromium (minimum 10.5%) which forms a natural protective layer that prevents rusting. Manufactured through hot-rolled and cold-rolled processes, these sheets offer excellent strength, superior surface finish, heat resistance, and long service life. Stainless Steel Sheets are available in multiple grades such as 304, 316, 202, 410, and 430—each suited for different environments. Their dimensional accuracy, smooth finish, and high durability make them ideal for industrial machinery, kitchen equipment, elevators, decorative panels, and chemical processing applications.

Manufacturing Process
Our Stainless Steel Sheets are sourced from top-quality mills that follow advanced manufacturing processes. The production begins with melting raw materials such as iron ore, chromium, nickel, and alloys in an electric arc furnace. The molten steel is refined to achieve perfect chemical composition based on grade requirements. The refined steel is cast into slabs, which undergo hot rolling to achieve required thickness. For sheets requiring high accuracy and a premium finish, cold rolling is performed to improve smoothness, strength, and dimensional accuracy. The sheets are then annealed to enhance ductility and corrosion resistance, followed by pickling and passivation to remove scale and create a protective chromium oxide layer. Finally, finishing operations like 2B, BA, Mirror, Matte, and No.1 polish are applied, providing high-quality surfaces suitable for decorative, industrial, and commercial use. Each sheet undergoes strict inspections, including thickness measurement, spectro analysis, hardness testing, and surface inspection.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Stainless Steel Sheet?▼
A stainless steel sheet is a corrosion-resistant steel sheet containing chromium, available in grades such as 304, 316, 202, 410, and 430, used for kitchen equipment, industrial machinery, and architectural applications.
Which grade of stainless steel sheet is best?▼
SS 304 is the most widely used grade due to its durability and corrosion resistance. SS 316 offers superior resistance in marine and chemical environments.
Does stainless steel sheet rust?▼
Stainless steel sheets resist rust due to their chromium oxide layer. However, extreme environments may require grade 316 for maximum protection.
What sizes are available?▼
Common sizes include widths of 1000mm, 1250mm, 1500mm, and 2000mm, with thickness ranging from 0.3mm to 50mm.
What standards are followed?▼
Our SS sheets comply with ASTM A240, JIS G4304, EN 10088, and IS 6911, ensuring international quality and performance.
